Sunrise was hopeful and comforting as our #21DayWakeUpChallenge started. We met, introduced ourselves, meditated to set intentions and reflected. This morning's meditation led us to the root chakra, the center for healing the physical and mental states. We cleansed, empowered and directed the energy flow to this special area at the base of the spine. Then, we chose three words to represent how we want to feel in our physical body today, how we want to feel emotionally today and how we want to feel energetically today.
Those three words became our intention, a way to gain clarity when our minds are swimming in information and fear, it is often best to return to our roots and hear our own inner voice. As I write this, I am grateful to have shared this experience with those in attendance. The energy we share is much deeper as it reminds us that we are a collective of energy and a collective of consciousness. Loneliness is an illusion. We are fostering a community now.
Twenty minutes, 21 Days, 7 am... join us as we investigate the healing, the habits, the movement and the practices that can guide us toward a more empowered sense of self. Sometimes it is good to have a reason to get out of bed.... sometimes it is good to have time to care for ourselves. We can't nurture others if we don't mend ourselves first.
Tomorrow... Good tarot. There will be NO scary cards! Register by clicking on the link at the top of my webpage and it will direct you to my email. A teacher of 19 years, a writer, a wellness advocate, fitness lover and intuitive mother to two boys, I believe that self love is the first step in helping lifting others. Our loved ones develop inner nurturing, we learn to show up in authentic ways in the world, and we discover our own potential when we take time to nurture ourselves. Our stories are our own, our voices are needed in this world, and we can change the world by lifting the vibration of our collective communities. It all starts inside our own hearts.
