Goodmorning, morning glories!
There is a thick blanket of snow outside my window, the kind that coats every branch and bough, making the world pure, magical, and... welp, cold.
We warmed up our bodies and our root chakra this morning with some free movement and dance intended to ground us in the natural world, to help us accept our bodies and our nature with confidence. Chakra dance requires bravery because there is no choreographer, it is all connection with your own rhythm. We used a meditation to further our connection with earth, her heartbeat and to remember how we are one with the planet and energies past, present and future. This is a moving meditation of sorts.
Learning each week, our accepting group has celebrated every moment- whether or not there are bumps in the road. I want to recognize the friends who were with me this morning and bravely willing to be videoed for your benefit. The music was not steady for them (I will use my internal microphone next wee), but they danced anyway. My heart is full thinking about that. I am not going to share the dance sessions on social as it is an intimate gathering of our tribe, so I share them with you, in confidence.
You'll need to be a part of my email list to watch the recap with bare feet that are ready to move. I'll admit that toward the end, the floor was mighty cold and I put my slippers on. If you have essential oils, cypress or patchouli at the base of the spine is great for connecting and nurturing the root chakra. I'd love to hear if you tried this and how it impacted you, if you did!
Tomorrow, we have my beautiful and dear friend, Brittany Leal sharing a meditation to start our day. She has such a silky voice to listen to and her meditation will fill you with self compassion and a vibration of safety and love. You won't want to miss her!
Monday: Light Healing with Kathy Leave space for about 30 minutes for this session. Be comfortable with cushions and clothing you can relax in. Bring a bowl of room temperature water large enough to fit your hand in.
Tuesday: 7AM Movement with Owen
Tuesday 7PM: A free essential oil class to teach you about how and why DoTerra oils are safe, effective and cheaper than modern medicine.
As always, let me know if you need anything at all and feel free to invite to our little group. If you haven't attended yet, it is never too late!
Have a beautiful day!

A teacher of 19 years, a writer, a wellness advocate, fitness lover and intuitive mother to two boys, I believe that self love is the first step in helping lifting others. Our loved ones develop inner nurturing, we learn to show up in authentic ways in the world, and we discover our own potential when we take time to nurture ourselves. Our stories are our own, our voices are needed in this world, and we can change the world by lifting the vibration of our collective communities. It all starts inside our own hearts.
